Bidisha Das (b. 1991) is a new media artist with an immense interest in sound. Her artworks are shaped by a constant DIY approach which reflects her profound interest in the intersection between art, natural-science and electronics. Recurring themes of her diverse range of work include art-science communication, planetary co-existence, inter relationship with the non-human life and exploring rhizomatic thinking. Bidisha grew up in Calcutta, India and is currently based in Cologne while finishing here masters from Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln,  & taking her practice forward.
